We believe each child is special and our goal is to bring out the best in every child. At The First School (TFS), we create an environment where a committed management, a team of trained, passionate and dedicated teachers along with the support of the parents are able to focus on the child's all-round development. Education has remained a key element of its socially responsible endeavors, from education & support to children with challenges and basic education to rural children to employment – oriented technical education.
Kindergarten programs are designed to encourage the natural curiosity and fearless sense of inquiry of children between the ages of 3 and 6. Our child-centred learning philosophy allows each child to develop at his/her own pace. Children from the age of 3 years are welcome to begin their learning adventure at our school.
We believe that children, when given the freedom to question, are able to develop greater conceptual understanding, finding ways to apply what they already know in new situations and link this understanding to new concepts. We aim at making learning an enriching experience by providing learners with ample opportunities to excel, thus, shaping them into responsible world citizens.
The Middle School at TFS consists of Grades VI - VIII. Middle School is a critically defining point in the educational career of a student. The best international resources are used to deliver the curriculum and the teachers make every attempt to go above and beyond prescribed textbooks. At Middle School, students begin to take more responsibility for their learning and the teacher assumes the role of a facilitator.
High school spans Grades IX - XII. Our primary goal is to enable all students to achieve success within the school and beyond. Students have ample opportunities to engage in sports and extracurricular activities.
Teachers have to make education a lifelong journey of discovery and achievement for themselves, before they can inspire the same in their students. We have a very friendly and supportive staff team.
